Aseon Labs is developing automated "pitstops" designed to integrate seamlessly into urban environments. These stations are not just charging points; they are specialized service hubs where robots handle the cleaning of sensors—critical for maintaining the high-fidelity perception required for Level 4 autonomy—and vacuum the interiors without human intervention.
The goal is to minimize the "mean time to service" and keep autonomous fleets in their high-demand zones for as long as possible.
